The Personal & Professional Services (PPS) Unit works cooperatively with the City's operating departments, quasi-public agencies, and private industry to solicit opportunities for M-DBEs, W-DBEs, and DS-DBEs in relation to "Request for Proposals" (RFPs).
PPS works in cooperation with its partners to provide a forum for organizations to network with one another and to enhance opportunities for all MBE’s, WBE’s, DBE’s and DS-DBE’s who are certified with us to do business with government agencies and large business contractors. It is critical to the success of businesses providing personal and/or professional services to market their services directly to various city departments or agencies, particularly those departments issuing RFP’s; and in conjunction making sure that the MBEC is aware of its services and capabilities.
