I am pleased to welcome you to the Minority Business Enterprise Councilís (MBEC) website. As part of our mission here at the MBEC, we work with the Philadelphia business community to build internal and external alliances with minority businesses, the City of Philadelphia, and with private industries to help develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships that facilitate successful networking opportunities.

Our website will help to provide you with information on a wide range of topics, including resources pertaining to minority business participation on City contracts and on becoming certified to do business with the City of Philadelphia. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. We are always available to help you!

As part of our Mission here at the MBEC, we work with the Philadelphia business community to build internal and external alliances with minority business enterprises(MBEs), women business enterprises (WBEs), disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs), and disabled business enterprises (DS-DBEs).

Sincerely,
James Roundtree
